If he gets CC'd, his stars disappear for the time. Thats almost all his damage gone once he just simply gets CC'd. The only useful thing he brings is the cc from ult and q

swains e ticks, his q ticks, same for malzahar, cassiopeia. Zacs ultimate does go of even if cced while its duration. Thresh will ALWAYS throw his q even if he dies before hitting you, it doesnt matter what cc hits him. Rammus instakills you with his thornmailpassive if you are an ad champ even if cced. There are a lot of champions who actually have the ability to trade while getting cced. .... On thread: Yeah its always the same game, new champ gets released, everybody says he is shit and 2 weeks later we have to nerf him anyway. Lets just wait a bit and let people get used to him. Also it would be REALLY alarming if he would already be a great competetive pick a few hours after release.

Her laning is completly oppressive and strong, the only reason why people dont pick her a lot is because she is ridicilously useless in a teamfight situation except people literally stand still in her ult circle for the entire duration and ignore her. Ilaoi is in fact op in the laningphase, but has to trade that for weaknesses in later stages of the game. So the community was half right with her.
