Why am i hearing champions ward quotes?

Any game with azir or karthus, i can occasionally hear Karthus: "Dead eyes never blink" or Azir: "Trust in my vision". I am not even near them its just a global quote i hear.

EDIT: A while ago a asked a rioter if they were fixing omega squad teemo and battle cast skarner ward quotes. in Story, Art, & Sound 6 days ago Vonderhamz (NA) 6 days ago Hey! I actually fixed this along with a bunch of other champs a few days back - Cass, Twitch, Omega Squad Teemo, Battlecast Skarner, Sion, Azir, Necromancer Azir, and Karthus. All of them should have VO attatched to most Vision types. (red/ blue Sightstone, trinket, pink, trackers knife etc.) Should be out this next patch. Cheers!

All of these champions are the ones I have been hearing. So something to do with this im sure.

Slightly off topic but am I the only one who notices that a lot of updated and new champions have about 15-20 minutes worth of voice overs, yet I barely hear over a dozen or so of their lines? I don't taunt often either.

I find this happens a lot, havent found it on any other champions. Although, a simlair thing happens to Ashe sometimes where you can always hear her W

I think it might be a bug stemming from making them interact with trinkets and vision wards because they removed stealth wards and had to shift the interactions around a bit to make them usable with the other ward types. That's just a hypothesis on my part though; would really need a sound designer or a technical designer to talk about the intricacies here, depending on what needs to be fiddled with.

Heard this happen with Draven in an URF match the other day, so it's not just Azir and Karthus.

I kept hearing Cassiopeia quotes in a game yesterday - she was on the team, but half the map away.

Yep, I heard a voice that resembled Karthus' a few matches ago when he wasn't even on any team. I thought this was a new champion teaser like Kindred's or Aurelion's.

Noticed Azir talking to me at some point - thought it was his sundiscs, but I think you're right.
