The Riot system

So a while back, during a Q&A series, I asked if a system that basically is more rewarding for each player doing well instead of basing it off of a team aspect would be good, he said he would fear the day that people think for themselves instead of for their team. That implies that this current system must be the opposite right? So everyone in the game plays to better everyone else? I just had a game where literally 2 people on my team ruined it for us. I owned my opponent, but my ADC friend was being handicapped by a support making bad choices. Now I know the jng could help the lane, if the jng was not the other one making bad plays. With out going into detail my lane opponent, Velkoz , was now un-shut down because he could safely hide behind his team mates with out being hurt by me and my friend because the support was never there and lee was way behind and playing badly period. So what is your system Riot? this is not a system that encourages me, or them, to want to help my team mates out. I, in this situation, want my team mates to go away because they are playing badly and not listening. The two in question do not want to help me because they are to angry/salty or to incompetent to actually contribute anything to the team.

Now that game was a normals, so you know, whatever, but this also happens in ranked. Early this year (2015) I admittedly lost my promos, and yes it was due in part to my own lack of skill. What I also found was that this type of thing described above happened except it was worse. Now I am not blaming everything on everyone else here, but I was not exactly bad at the game ( not good either, but I could contribute to the team in a positive way ). Now I got placed in B1 after those and quickly descended to B3, quit because i wanted to re-evaluate myself, and came back quite a few month later and descended even lower to B5 0LP. If I had a team that could competently carry out their roles ( Now ) I could with in reason carry them. My question is: How is it fair to say that because you get people that are bad on your team and they feed ( regardless of what you say or do ) that you should be judged for your own skill level based on a game with people who handicap you. The other team is not necessarily better, they just had less 12 year olds on their team, I think that we should have:

  1. a system that rewards your for playing well with your team, or in a team scenario, it would reward you for personal play and encourage you to further work with your team

  2. a system for ranked that evaluates a person based on their own skill level, again focusing on team based scenarios, so that you are put with people that are more likely to mach your skill level and give you less headache because you are not trying to deal with incompetence on top of some one having a bad day

  3. a system that helps pick out players that need, based on stats and a report system, and help to (briefly) instruct them on what they need to work o and not how to fix it. It would tell them generally what was wrong and include (optional) comments from team mates ( one that they have the option to give or not) and would be report-able so that people who want to flame them are discouraged from doing so. Lastly it would have a set number of times that they can get this before the system starts giving them the tutorial for how to play better in the area that they are struggling in.

Seems like you are blaming the support and jungler for your loss in the first paragraph, yet those are the last two roles that should take blame. Mid and DPS bot and top laners are the carries and the snowball champions. Junglers and supports provide map awareness and utility. Never EVER blame the support or the jungler unless they are intentionally feeding.

That is not true, they are responsible for keeping the team alive. Besides, if they are constantly never in team fights, its a 3 v 5 not a 5 v 5. doesn't matter what their role is.

Why are you three making the decision to engage on five?

we aren't making the decision, we have to either defend or attack, either way its a 3 v 5. we cant just afk and win.
