Since the "Ban newly released champions in Rank" will never be applied
How about:
#In Ranked matches, players can only play champions who has at least Mastery 2 on them
In rank matches, players should have known the basics of their own champions they picked up such as their abilities/item sets/kits & such, be it free weekers or just someone whom they recently bought. So to do this, players should play at least 2 or more games with their new champions in Normal matches.
Believe me, no one wants to see people trying out AP Rengar on their very first time with this champion.
