10 Reasons Why Master Yi Doesn't Need a Rework

1.The Helmet is Ridiculous

Yes, it _may _ be an integral part of his identity, but it looks silly. Being a scholar or a man of the sword, that helmet does not do justice to either of those two titles. I'm not saying that we should get rid of the helmet but it would be nice to give such an identifying part of Yi a nice makeover. While it is normal to make fun of the absurdity of Mayer Yi's goggles, as he even does it himself, does it do justice to such a champion that was in the game from the very beginning?

2.Is Yi really a Master?

I get that Master Yi is a pun on mastery but I can't help but to ask myself, mastery of what? Wuju? What even is Wuju? I'm not saying you need to explain the essence of Wuju and how it relates to the universe. I already know what I need to know, and that is that Wuju is some cool spiritual shit. However, everything I see that is Wuju, or every a demonstration of it, doesn't make me think "That's some cool spiritual shit!" Master Yi is a master of Wuju, but he might as well be a master of flipping burgers because both of them look interesting but not "cool spiritual shit" kind of interesting.

3.Yellow is a great color! (Not...)

For whatever reason yellow is the color of Master Yi, but why yellow? Sure, many people may like the color yellow but let's be honest. Yellow is not a cool color. But of course it's not suppose to be cool, Yi is a Master and not some showoff, he just wears one of the most glaring colors imaginable. To be fair he could be wearing red but that might bring back some of his bad memories...

4.He can meditate? Nah it's just for show

He really is a master of some sorts, I mean when he meditates he fucking levitates. Can you defy the laws of physics? No, well don't worry neither can he. While he can defy the law of gravity he can't defy any other laws of motion, because you can just push him out of his meditation... Well what if he levitates because he's just farting hard enough to counteract the gravity? That's definitely a possibility, as long as he's a scholar in my heart it shouldn't matter.

5."...he swept across the front lines in a blur..."

"Yi ventured down to help defend the First Lands. To astonished eyes, he swept across the front lines in a blur, routing the enemy with blinding swordplay never before seen by outsiders."

Hmm, how can he sweep across the front lines when he always teleports back to his first target in his alpha strike? Don't think about it too hard he's just running the enemy down, who says he even needs to use his "blinding swordplay never seen before by outsiders", I'm just making shit up at this point. But seriously, and I mean super seriously... Master Yi can be outrunned by a little girl holding a bear as long as she's the Child Predator. It should be expected though, he is a scholar so of course he skipped out on leg day... wait he's also a master...of wuju? Wtf is that?!

6."...routing the enemy with blinding swordplay never before seen by outsiders."

Yeah no he's just swinging his sword in constant horizontal slashes. BUT WAIT, if he swings his sword 3 times...are you ready for it...he swings his sword TWICE on his next attack. Damn, what a master of the sword this guy is. I will give credit where credit is due though, that swordplay is blinding, highly inefficient but definitely blinding. It can either hurt your eyes looking at such poor technique, or you can't see it all all since it's all a blur, your take. There are no wrong opinions.

7.Not enough SWORDS

Yeah he's such a lover of swords I mean look he even carries two! But Zoro carries three swords... Even that one dude from Re:Zero carried SEVEN swords! Are you telling me that Yi doesn't have the balls to carry more than two swords, huh! Man, what a disgrace to sword lovers everywhere...

8.I forgot Yi was a teacher

Didn't he take Wukong as a disciple. Man that must've been such a life changing experience to be passing on a dying martial art. Just kidding, Yi didn't incorporate anything he learned from Wukong into his own swordplay, who can blame him he is already a master. He stands at the very top, there is no longer a need to learn more. What's that, "A true master is an eternal student", what horseshit! Whoever came up with that quote must be an idiot!

9.Ew...

Yi just doesn't look good... He looks so old... Maybe that's why he sucks right now, he's old, senile, he probably needs to use his sword as a cane from time to time...

10.It's only Master YI

It's just this one champion, it's not like this champion is as old as league of legends itself. Just forget about him he's a relic of the past amirite. He's garbage and we should just leave him is the corner like the decrepit old man he is. I mean look at him, he's so senile he thought he used to be a scholar, even a master of Wuju. PTSD must be a serious issue... but who cares! I mean we always ignore the war veterans of today, not like they need any support they've already done their job. Farewell Master Yi, it's time for you to die after serving this game from the very beginning. Don't worry, we won't miss you ;)

been seeing a lot of act like an oblivious person who says things that contradict what they say/what is happening.

must have been a family guy joke recently.
