Qiyana is Pre-Nerfed Akali 2.0
Qiyana is definitely not as egregious as the Akali rework, however she's still a toxic champion.
Why is Qiyana allowed to have an AOE stun despite being an assassin? -Generally assassins don't have hard cc (for good reasons), those that do are an extreme few, and are the exceptions. -If Qiyana is suppose to be an exception then why does she deal so much damage while also having game deciding utility? -Also assuming Qiyana is suppose to be an outlier, why is her Q allowed to be a spammable ability when it can root and deal execution damage? Her design is by definition, unbalanced. Of course if she were a bruiser with nerfed damage this would be passable, but she gets a snare, a knockback (at minimum) or a full stun, while also being allowed to do a too much damage.
Her kit is much more suited to be a bruiser, but instead you're forcing her to be like an assassin which makes her unbalanced. Assassins generally have a way to dive the back line and deal a lot of damage, very simple. If they don't do so much damage, they get a lot more mobility, and vise-versa, but at the very least they have enough mobility to assassinate a key target. Qiyana lacks the mobility most assassins do have, in exchange she deal a lot of damage, which so far makes sense. However Qiyana also gets utility...
Riot, you're clearly overcompensating for something, either slightly nerf her utility, damage, mobility, or buff one aspect previously mentioned while hard nerfing everything else. It's a simple balance issue. It's perfectly reasonable that you gave Qiyana more than usual damage to compensate for her lack of mobility, however the utility you gave her clearly doesn't justify how much damage she can do for the utility she has.
I'd completely remove the utility she has and give her a little more damage. But if you insist on keeping her utility to make her viable, then please nerf her damage and stop pretending she's an assassin, because she shouldn't be.
