Can we start "The Weekly Community Ban"

The weekly community ban would be a vote casted to ban a single champion from all ranked play for that week.

Players can vote in browser or in client under a new vote tab.

1 vote per account.

Reason? Perhaps the whole community or at least a majority of players are tired of seeing shyvanna with devourer.. therefor she's #1 voted for banned champion of the week and wont see any ranked play.

However, I think it should be made so the same champ cant be banned twice within a 4 week or so period.

Actually curious how that would play out. Seems interesting. I too am tired of the same champion every game getting picked and banned.

It'd be for the entire week and be a majority decision. It's completely fair, It'd be cool to see the results too.

Positive Shyv would be banned whenever the community got the chance, and probably Riven.

Vayne has very low counters (no hard counters atm) irelia has SOME counters, still no hard counter etc.

That seems like a meh idea. "Hey, X mains. We've decided you can go fuck yourselfs for the next week". Even then, this isn't going to affect high level play as much as low level; Lee Sin and Azir might draw a lot of votes for ban in high level (where people can play them sufficiently), but champions like Master Yi, Riven, or Fizz are going to draw massive amounts of votes for ban in low level (where lots of mistakes are made and those champions capitalize on mistakes). Effectively this would be "what do Bronze + Silver keep losing to this week".

what if each elo got its own ban then? for instance this week bronze voted to ban udyr, and silver voted to ban zed

No, some people actually pay money to Riot and they shouldn't have anything they paid for taken from them for a whole week.

it's ranked only, and the only thing you have to pay for is skins. I feel bad for you if you buy champions

realistically if you have a job and don't get to play 8 games a day like im sure you do, spending ip on champions is terrible

I only play like 3 games a day max and ive unlocked over 100 champions with just IP in the last 9 months

Some exceptions to note to avoid a few frustrations would be; 'free to play' champions cannot be voted; and the particular champ cannot be voted for if banned the previous week.

I would think that in ranked play free to play champions could still be voted for simply because theres a decent amount to choose from.

but i still support the "cant be banned if already been banned" rule
