Draven Day was Riot's "sorry" gift for no URF on April 1st

You guys just took that gift and stomped all over it. Riot must've felt like shit that they couldn't have URF happen on April 1st, and now you guys made them feel more like shit by being pissed off that URF isn't happening (WHICH RIOT ANNOUNCED THE MONTH BEFORE!!!), and saying Draven Day shouldn't be happening.

What a fine community you all are.

Fucking. Heartless. Assholes.

EDIT: People aren't getting my message here. I'm saying most of the community were the heartless assholes, not Riot.

Regardless of what they announced a month ago, they still had a month to recognize that their playerbase wanted something other than what they were going to be presenting. It just wasn't a smart business move on their part. It's not "heartless" to be upset with a multi-billion dollar business. If a business ignores the wants of its clients, then it will miss out on revenue. It's pretty simple.

OP do you understand how a business works? A business like Riot I mean, which offers services to people, much like an internet provider or a movie streaming service.

See, businesses like that need to listen to costumer feedback, riot isn't entitled to people's money or their time, if they wanna win people over they need to listen and appeal to them(just like how everyone else does it). Because see, much like other businesses, when costumers are not happy with the service they are recieving they switch to other providers(just like you would with internet providers or streaming services eg; netflix/hulu)

Once you're old enough to stop sucking riot's dick and get a job you might learn how a business works and how people are in the right for being mad at riot because they've constantly let their consumers down and fucked up plenty of times before.

What are you actually talking about? xD

Why wouldn't riot be able to allow URF for April 1st? They have always done it and (should've) always would Last year they said the same thing, no Urf, and that was their April Fools joke. People ended up getting what they wanted instead of this annoying Draven thing they put out.

I actually can't think of a reason why they didn't do URF this year...

What about a business's obligation to provide what the clients want do you not understand?

When a company of this size and magnitude blatantly ignores the outcry of a large portion of their fanbase, it's a massive blow to their public relations. Rito often makes changes that nobody asked for, such as the Mordekaiser rework, and they suffer for it - rightfully so. It pains me to know that an enterprise such as Rito games can continue to reap and sew - even after their blatant ignorance towards the masses they claim to cater to. Draven Day is somewhat of a disaster for all parties involved, because it blows this facade wide open. We are not heartless; we're just frustrated with our feedback falling on deaf, uncaring ears. They are not heartless either; their just in it for the profit.

Calling names. What a way to pass your message. I would't have mind to have the U.R.F of the last year. With the new champs banned so it doesn't get buggy. Draven's day wasn't a way to say "sorry". For me it was a poorly attempt to do something different. Pass years we had minigames, Lee sin, and the very well know U.R.F mode. This year we even have some hints that U.R.F was going to take place. POPSTAR URF told us to save the date for amumus party, Silly skins like Urf Kench. I honestly thought that Riot was trying to hide so hard U.R.F mode behind this Draven's day. That an any moment they were going to make an announcement that Draven's day was taken out by unknown Forces. Then BAAM! The all mighty Urf came out behind the skins animation of Draven, Meowkai, Non-Vel and Kench as you can see the golden glow behind them. Now that i think about it. Why not have had both of them, Draven's day AND U.R.F mode and see what happens?
