I remember the idiots from last year who claimed it was normal for pre-season rune system to be broken and that it would be fixed before Season 8 launch. I bet they cry at night now

Nothing but whining and people saying how much the game is broken blah blah. The real question is why Riot allows these garbage threads to exist. Go play another game if you don't like it, your negativity accomplishes nothing.

tbh these excuses are no where near as prevalent as they used to be, even last season you could see some posts saying "just wait till preseason" as early as September.

Only good thing that happend this season is that the meta is not primary adc focused anymore thanks to questionable adc item nerfs.

There should be no such thing as preseason. This isnt the NBA, its an online game. LoL needs to go the PoE style and have back to back seasons nonstop.

I hate players who make excuses in ranked like "it's just flex" or "it's just preseason" then don't play it.

I hope Riot has learned something from Season 8, the season that was pure bullshit, unbalanced and antifun until the mid of October.

This year has been unaceptable for me, during a time I only played one game a week and even that was enough to tilt me because of the horrible metagame.

I hope Season 9 will be at least a bit better.

You know the "too much damage" we have now? In past preseasons it has been worse. People not knowing how to play at all is valid.

Honestly, I don't know why anybody thought that the problems would stop with preseason. I mean, they removed the entire runes and masteries system. Of course the entire season would get fucked, what would you expect? Same thing applies this season; on top of still feeling the ripple effects of last year, we have a bunch of new shit that will just make things more chaotic. All of that goes for both sides, too; on the one hand, you can't just make the excuse that Riot will have everything magically fixed in three patches, but on the other, you can't really complain when it doesn't get fixed right off the bat.

My personal problem comes in when people act like whatever comes out on the first preseason patch is the finished product right out the gate. At least wait until the start of the season to start complaining, since Riot will probably have done their knee-jerk balance changes by that point and will be wanting more well-thought out feedback after people have grown accustomed to the new stuff. If you do that, I'm not about to pull some "oh, just wait til midseason lul". Three patches is plenty time to form an informed opinion. All I ask for is for is three patches of patience. If you're still not satisfied after that, I would strongly recommend that you complain. Riot needs that kind of feedback.
