Why do I get matched with bronze and low silvers when I'm gold in new game modes and normal games?

I don't understand why I'm the only Gold and I get bronze 5, unranked and low silvers in my games? I thought it would matchmake me with people near my rank?

Doesn't make the new game mode fun to play. :(

Cuz the MMRs are seperate. Everyonce in awhile ill come across diamond players in my normal games.. Prob cuz the guy rarely ever plays normals.

The better question is why MMR is different for different SR queues...

The queues serve different purposes. I'd never inflict my Vayne on anyone in a ranked game.
