Assassins.

Not even gonna pretend to know what im talkin about with this. been playing like... 5 months maybe and im still unranked. Ive paid close attention to the league community and seen that lately a lot of the biggest gripes are balance, mobility champs and that LoL has a history with assassins. so this thing on assassins... what exactly is the problem with the assassin role? I know their mobile, squishy and sneaky. But isnt their main objective JUST to kill ADC/Assassins and other squishy high damage targets? Now while Ive been told thats what the job of the assassin is. From personal experience I see that is not the case. an assassin can ace an entire team if they want... that dont seem right to me. some of em just seem way too strong. I'll tell you now, I love talon. he is fun to play for me. But I find that even he is capable of such a thing if he snowballs hard enough. I think most of the top tier champions right now fit in the assassin role. and, idk what its like in higher elo games, but down here in the bronze/unranked we got katas getting pentas consistently cause no one can kill her fast enough (and s2g, everytime we have no hard cc on our team, i dont even understand how that keeps happening) Kinda going nowhere with this post...just something I was thinking about earlier.

Small correction. An assassin's job is to use their above average mobility to exploit openings such as out of position squishies or to force lopsided fights in their team's favor.

They should not have as much damage as say Brand or Viktor, but if you leave an assassin alone they should be allowed to punish you for that.

The problem is when you get Assassins like Lee Sin , J4, or Rengar who are both mobile AND super tanky. So not only can they now exploit openings, but they can't be punished if they mess up. This makes for some rather nasty balance problems.

Assassins typically get fed and own, or get owned and feed. The one exception to this is Katarina

Assassins are mostly 1v1 champions and when they get fed they can make easy a penta.... I play a lot Katarina Katarina and it's hard for me to get penta with her when my midlaner enemy is very good but when he/she isn't i can control the whole game. So it isn't the champion who's way to strong, it's the enemy who makes the champion way to strong!
