"Ekko's so broken"

Im surprised to still hear this now. I really think that Ekko is in a healthy state now. Theres team comps he get stomped by and team comps he stomps outright. his damage is great coupled with runeglaive and ludens sure, but he still needs to proc his passive and effectively position himself and time skills to make anything happen. that said, its still entirely possible to E one shot an adc if ur far enough a head.

idk. I think hes in a good place right now

Eh, he's in an alright place. It's mostly a skill matchup, nothing like how he could delete people with button mashing. I've seen lot's of Ekko's completely fail their W's, so even if you've got no escapes, he can't kill you if he misses the W. His E+Q at lvl 2 uses up 90 mana, which is about 3/13 of his max including a Ring. It does 120+70%AP(Q, if both hit)+110+20% AP(E), and assuming both hit, 10+20+80%AP. Excluding additional auto's, and with an Autoattack damage of 60. And assuming people have 40 AP with runes, masteries, and a Ring, that's... 328 damage. Adding the (base) magic resist stat, and assuming the armor stat is the same and works the same, 246 damage. Happens up to 3 times, and that's 738 damage. Ekko himself only has 660 life, and he's melee.

On the other hand, in order to pull that off, you've gotta get in range of your E. Q is pretty easy to land if you throw it after teleporting to them with E, and what they can do is 1) stay away, or 2) dodge the second Q. Staying away is being passively zoned, dodging the second Q takes away plenty of damage, negating his passive as well. It's pretty even, because once you dodge the second Q, the damage is greatly reduced.
