Nerf Fiddlesticks Terrify

Merc treads don't even help the amount of time you are feared. At least when you buy merc treads and get hit with a morgana maxed q, you still aren't locked down as long as fiddle's terrify. By the time his terrify wears off, he's either 2 turrets away from you, or you're down to 20 health about to die to his silence.

I'm not a fan of his silence either, but it's probably one of the only things that truly makes him good anytime. An antiburst ability, so to speak.

Point and click 2.25 Crowd control is very unhealthy. oh and he has a silence

As I said, not a fan of it (or the silence) but what else can he do?

I am saying rework the champ.

Why bother? There are dozens of other issues that have greater priority than a random specialist.

What do you mean. The champion needs an update I think his Ult is great for him, but his other abilities could definitely use tweaks or be replaced to be more interactive. There is nothing fun about playing fiddle except maybe his ult and I think his E is ok. But point and click crowd control needs to be a thing of the past.

I mean he has an ult that teleports and deals hella dps that works too well with zhonya's and crystal scepter. It takes a long time to wind up yeah. But it's still a great ult that has a lot of good uses. He can silence that bounces from target to target hitting some targets more than once and he has lifesteal that actually is good. He's just compensated with no mobility and is really squishy but when you can terrify someone for 5 years and move to next town by the time it wears off, who needs to be tanky?

Personally, the fact that the silence bounces so much and often on the same target is what bugs me.

I'll settle for that got dam bounce if I have to. He got a built in Brand ult that silences you. I think the bounce will effect his jungle clearing, but that is okay since his terrify lasts forever and his lifesteal is pretty effecient on jg camps. Cutting the bounce down on the same target would help solve fiddlesticks being more oppressive than need be as a support. All in all, I am okamiyasha95 and I approve this message.

This is just wrong. Morgana's Q duration is longer than Fiddle's Q duration at max rank: 3 seconds vs. 2.25 seconds. Merc treads would still make Morg's Q last longer than Fid's Q.

to be fair.. yes morg Q is longer, however, morg Q is a root.. which only prevent you from moving, or using dash abilities.

Fiddlesticks flat out means u cant move auto, cast ANYTHING any summoner except summoner 1

it is an 2.25 STUN effectively... where as morg... sure she can root you... but unless your a melee champion.. that wont stop anything

im NOT saying fiddle is OP, i do think he could use an update, but i am merely compare the two

fiddle ALSO has a silence.. which hits multiple times and can CC lokc your champ much more effectively than morg can. while at the same time potentially boucing his silence at a longer range and hitting other champions as well. u just have to take everything in context.

item 3111 SHOULD effect Fear.. i honestly thought it did .. maybe the OP is mistaken, idk, i certainly hope so

Morgana is also a skillshot where as Fiddlesticks is point and click.

i dont think the OP made a very good comparison

but needless to say tenacity SHOULD effect EVERY form of CC including knockups, and fiddle really does need some sort of "update"

Maybe I didn't. That was more about how I felt than me looking up facts. but I still stand on his terrify being more OP than morg's Q.

I think it's balanced out by him not having any runes that are exceptionally good on him.

I mean no, he doesn't have a rune that specifically fits his kit. But electrocute works just well on him the same way Thunderlord's did before the rune changes. And it depends on what role you pick. If you pick lane fiddle, comet or aery works perfectly. If you go jungle, then electro works just fine since he builds burst anyways. AD melee champs are the only champs that don't have a rune. Fervor of Battle was the perfect rune for them. PTA does not help melee top laners in the laning phase since it's only worth it against other melee champs. The conqueror's rune is not helpful for them either, since it can only activate after you hit enemy champs or minons for an extended period of time AND it wears off after 3 seconds. The Fervor of Battle rune activated as soon as you hit a target AND it wore off after 8 seconds. Fervor allows for more damage during trades, more options for trades, and you didn't need a met condition to activate it which meant you could use the keystone whenever. It would be better if the conqueror's rune activated on hit like Fervor. Personally, I would like the effect to last longer since it takes so long to activate. On top of that, Conqueror can be used by everybody who goes AD unlike Fervor which worked better with melee champs than ranged. Electrocute and PTA are for marksmen and are the only things keeping them in a playable state, but compared to how other champs synergize with the other runes, AD melee champs are on the weaker side.

I'd be for removing Conqueror and replacing it with Fervor of Battle.
