Nerf Chain CC

Every champion has some form of CC and many champs have a lot of roots/stuns. Merc treads are useless because the 30% reduction doesn't help much when you're stunned by 2-3 sometimes 4 champs in every fight. 2 seconds doesn't help when you're still stunned for 6 seconds and slowed. Fights are usually determined anywhere between 5-10 seconds. I can't tell you how many times I could've been the winning factor in teamfights as a tank or juggernaut with resolve and merc treads but still end up getting CC'd for the entire duration of the fight making me useless. Even if I'm fed, I'm still useless. It's not my fault that I took the necessary steps to get ahead of my enemy. I can't help it if I just mechanically played better than my opponent. I shouldn't be getting perma CC'd for an entire duration of a fight. I should be able to have some lee way or counterplay against chain CC. I say sequential CC placed upon a champion should be reduced by 20-30 percent.

Stacking crowd control is the only way to deal with a lot of the champions that exist currently in League. The counter to a champion like an Akali, or an Irelia, or an Ekko, the list goes on, is to literally stop them from playing the game until they are dead, because if you don't or cannot, they're likely walking all over you, or taking no losses from a fight they can simply "outplay you" by choosing to leave.

Melting as a tank/juggernaut with aftershock and tenacity is frustrating, and I think a lot of people can empathize with how useless it feels to actually try to tank damage in the current meta. However, you can take solace in the fact that getting all of the enemy CC dumped onto you means they haven't used it on your teammates, which likely are champions I mentioned, and they can retaliate for you.

I've been saying it for years that the way to solve CC locks is to add diminishing returns to each CC within a certain time frame. This means you can still get chain stunned, but the effectiveness of the stuns reduces for each one thrown on you say per 3 seconds. This way you still get stunned, but for less time and come out of the lock quicker so that you at least have a chance to move. Other games have been doing this for years so this is not a new concept, but Rito has been resisting the need since forever.

Just build a Quicksilver Sash, Mikael's Crucible, and use the Cleanse Summoner Spell. That's what they are for.

i think there should be a system so that it will diminish CC from other users CC rather than CC from the initial caster.

So example.

If Leona Roots a user, Then Stuns them with her Q, then presses R To stun, All of that should not be affected by 'the system'.

Now, IF you have Morgana, Land a Bind, and jhin would to snare the target again. (That should punish jhin with a diminished snared), Then IF morgana were to Press Her R. She is the priority. And she'll stun for the full duration if she were to land it.

This way for some champions like Leona, and amumu, wouldn't be really affected as they're expected to initiate. But things like Ekko or caitlyn might see the effects.

Unfortunately many juggernauts&Skirmishers&divers are exactly designed with the intent that they are supposed to suck against people just stunlocking them to death.

Your only real way to win against such a team is to establish a insurmountable lead before teamfights or splitpush.

Take Fiora for instance, if you cant lock her down then no amount of armor or health does squat against her, one ult and even the biggest tank in league dies in seconds.

So you have stuff like Chogath for instance, to silence her to deny mobility and her W, then Q to stun her and let the team hit her with more until she dies.

Had that Fiora instead been another tank then she´d just be stunned for a while and as long as the enemy side doesnt have something like Ryze/cassio/Vayne/kog to melt her in the meanwhile then she just shrugs it off and keeps pressing in while soaking damage for her team as intended.

That´s why tanks are the only melee that really scale well into teamfights aside from Kled with his R i´d say.

u can't. what u have to do is nerf damage so the chain CC isn't as big of a deal.

chain cc was added back into the game a couple of seasons ago, because it was far to easy to escape from a team fight if you had any form of mobility buffered, it would auto activate your escape after the longest cc duration was applied. You could flash out of nearly anything, even though you were getting piled with hard cc.

there are many times i could have killed a qiyana, but instead she pressed R, knocks me up, takes half my health with a single AA-Q, then i get stunned immediately after and straight back to the grey screen lol
