What do ypu max first on MF and why?
I saw a guide on ADC mf saying to max e first, its her No. 1 Guide on mobafire Right now. Why wouldnt you max q since it is your crazy high dmg ability?

e alone can proc thunderlord's, which everyone takes. It also does an absurd amount of damage without an AD ratio, and takes no skill to align like Q does.
I still prefer the attack speed one first personally, since it's what I've always done.
This - the att speed max. Also the slow makes it easier to land cc etc from the supp. But i still prefer Q.
"e alone proc thunderlord", even level 1. No need to max it for that.
People should stop making E first after riot shaves 60 damage off of it's rank 5
The old lesson from long, long ago here is: "Don't Listen to MobaFire."
It gives bad habits, makes people think rigidly (and stupidly. And then they pick fights with their teammates), and prevents people from learning the game, which is what they should be doing. Which isn't even hard! Example: you should not be picking out builds from there and following what some guy wrote. You are supposed to build what you need to build for the game you are playing.
Read the abilities, pick the one that works for what you are doing, and do according to what you have picked.*
If you want to max Q, just do it.
I always maxed Q because of the cooldown reduction. E first is most likely going out of meta anyway with that hefty nerf.
You max your Q first for the laning phase poke as well as the damage middle game. You max your W second of course though.
