"If you want vision, buy a sightstone yourself." - Lux Support

Ok listen.

  • I know you didn't get Mid
  • I know you don't want support
  • I know lux (similarly to Sona) can successfully build some AP items as support

But that doesn't mean you can just dis your team in terms of vision/utility. Cmon now. If you have support as secondary or get it through autofill, prepare to play SUPPORT. Not mid champions with mid builds, SUPPORT.

The only problem I have with laners is that many times they complain to support for no vision, but they have no pinks out and are sitting on 2 yellow trinkets.

I instantly rush sightstone every time, so it doesn't really apply to me. But supports are always sick of being blamed for no vision when vision is a team game.

Especially when the team decides to do dragon after I've been in lane for 5+ minutes. Like... I used every ward I had looong ago.

I don't care if the support doesn't want to build support items so long as they fulfill the bare minimum required of them:

  • Gold Generation Item
  • Sightstone

If they happen to build this item (and use it properly), they can stack 5 Deathcaps for all I care. item 2301

I always build sightstone on supports, even if I am going AP builds. Just common sense. How else am I supposed to murder everyone if I can't see them :^)

Where's that Lux Support game tho? I don't see it. I know what you're saying is to improve supports but at this point it's like you're farming for upvotes.

But Lux support legit builds full AP... she doesn't do as well as other supports with utility items. Lux with no damage = trash support.

Should definitely have a sightstone, though.

Edit: Thanks for the downvotes. If you want a utility support, there are way better picks than Lux.

Well you can't blame the Lux. They have been too busy listening to her mantra of "Focus on the enemy" and "Focus on the battle" to build anything but damage.

What you should do is tell them to get a sightstone and that it's "a tactical decision."

I just wish they'd give every role meaningful vision options, and the option for late game pink wards.

item 2301 hmm what is this strange item

CrazFight 8/10/2016, 7:17:49 PM8 votes

Actually when Im playing jungle I tend to buy sightstone, im the bae that you want on your team :)

LaserDeathBlade8/10/2016, 8:56:33 PM5 votes

Is it really worth it to argue who gets the sightstone?

Obviously ideally support builds it, but it's not the end of the world to build it on any laner because presumably the Lux 'support' will be making up the damage.

But you should ward too.

I gotta be honest--I stopped supporting because my ADC would consistently yell at me for buying a sightstone. Shockingly, there are a large number of ADCs in low bronze who will actually flame their support for doing support things instead of being a second mid laner.

if you play lux sup you're already garbage

Serika Zero8/11/2016, 7:51:25 AM3 votes

I agree with the Lux player. If vision was THAT important, someone else would've got wards/sightstone.

But since nobody else got it, your entire team agreed that vision is worthless
