For the love of god, stop rushing lich bane on Fizz

Now I'm sure a million people are gonna reply to this off the title alone "BUT YOU IDIOT LICH BANE IS AWESUM ON FIZZ I WENT xxx/0/xxxx ON FIZZ IN MY......"

Now, here's the thing, Lich Bane is a great item on Fizz, helps him do a ton of damage.

Lich Bane RUSH on the other hand, is complete garbage and neuters you as a threat for the next 10 minutes or however long it takes you to get another major AP item.

I have seen, ever since his release, people rush lich bane on Fizz as high up as mid gold, and it tilts the shit out of me whenever I see someone doing it. It has never been good and lich bane, as is, will never be good as a first item. Why? It's pretty self explanatory, for a (very large) cost, it just gives you another damage dealing effect, however doesn't offer much in the way of AP itself. In the past it didn't even retain the base damage modifier of sheen which could often result in you losing damage by upgrading to lich bane, though this has since changed. To put it simply, without some other sources of AP, the damage from lich bane is very low, and doesn't justify the cost.

For the same amount of gold spent on a lich bane, you can get something like sorc boots, hextech revolver, sheen, and have a much easier time beating people. Protobelt is extremely good on Fizz with the active, and the +300 health lets you tower dive or win duels you otherwise wouldn't win.
