Didn't expect Reset to hit this badly.
So I'm playing Galio mid vs a Leblanc.
And I'm just chillin. Because I counter her hard, she can't fight me, my lane is just a farm lane at this point. So I start looking around at other lanes.
Kennen fighting a Sona top. Sona kicking his ass. Aight w/e, no biggie, anyone ballsy enough to take Sona top would probably kick ass.
Bot lane. We got a Soraka+Draven slowly falling to a Jhin+Yuumi. Okay, well thats not good.
And jungle, got a Twitch JG who has been relatively unsuccessful. Enemy Graves has failed every gank on my lane, but did okay elsewhere.
I'm watching these players and... The skill gap was so apparent. I've smurfed before, I'm like, the hell is going on. Did i get thrown into a game of level 40s and i'm expected to carry? No, that can't be. Then again, the Leblanc wasn't phenomenal, she learned to back off but still wasn't figuring out that she couldn't fight me at all.
I check these profiles, and these players are... My level? Ranked higher than me? But can't land simple abilities, are still solo shoving lanes at 20-25 minutes into the game, consistently getting caught out on the same mistakes over and over and over again. Like what gives? How can you make games this one sided, even with the reset? There were no plays, no fights, no roams, moments for me to actually turn a fight. Every time I used my ult, a teammate would run, die, or misposition so poorly that it didn't even matter. Absolutely zero players had picked up Grievous Wounds to cancel the Yuumi heals, like...
I'm totally against Promo games. Completely. But if on rank up, there could be like, a test that someone would have to pass to rank up, that'd be awesome. Because it's just pitiful seeing these "high-rankers" try to talk down to someone when they don't even know positioning or itemization.
Idk man just wanted to share the solo queue experience i guess.
