KDA

Why do people worry about kills so much. I was doing an ARAM and we had a galio he ulted their whole team and I was zilean and I did a double bomb on the group and killed 4 of them and our eve killed off the last one. He apologized 4 times about stealing my Penta.

I told him every time I just want to win the game I don't worry about how many kills I have as long as I win the game.

Also a side note I love Galio in team fights. wish more people played him

shhhh, dont tell the silvers/bronzies, they might play better and rank up.

but yea, the moment people realize KDA doesnt matter and focus more on objectives and that 50g nexus, is when games become a lot more fun.

If you really need gold, just last hit the enemy nexus

A positive KDA is something that is nice to have... A Penta is something that is very VERY nice to have... That's why he apologized...

High KDAs are nice to look at.

Having more kills then deaths is always nice! :P

A LOT of people put too much weight on it though....

I've had a 1/6/8 Ekko game where I took 5 towers and 4 dragons, not to mention how many people I saved w/ my W!; and at games end I get "GG despite the NOOB Ekko!" "Learn to last hit!" " Git Good" ect... :/

Conversely, I once had a Diana game where I went 20/0/14; and we STILL lost because the rest of my team couldn't defend objectives to save their lives. Literally! they died ALOT!!! :P It was pretty sobering.

Bad KDA's don't always equal bad games, and Good ones can still be crushing losses! KDA just tend to be the biggest measuring tool for E - Pein's :P

I hate that this problem exists too. I had a few games where I was rampaging as top lane Jinx. Took top lane in another game and I ended up with 3/9/5. Our jungler was a show off Lee Sin who decided to be really toxic and pick on people and call them noobs, especially me. I told him straight, "As long as I have more Kills AND Assists than deaths, I don't really care what you think." He called everyone useless and I had had enough so I said:

"You're the one whose useless! You only care about yourself!" -Me

"Me useless? Look at my score!" -Lee Sin

"You just proved my point!" -Me

He even made fun of me in the end game screen "LOL look at Jinx's score!" I reported and blocked the asshat and for sticking up for myself one of the other players (who also reported him) friended me.

I wish I had more chances to play galio, but he needs team support what with the mobility creep, someone like tahm kench or thresh to get him to the fight. but good galio ults are incredible, same as a decent rammus gank.

KDA is actually pretty important. When compared to objectives or saving team lives, it obviously is not as important though. If your top lane is 0-4-0 5 minutes into the game, you're going to have a hard time. At that point, those 4 deaths have cost him time to farm, and now the opponent top has the gold advantage, and most likely has pushed your tower.

Same thing with mid and ADC. It's all about making more gold then the other team, so you get the best stuff as fast as possible.

KDA is as important, if not more important, than CS. However, if you are a 0-8-30 support, to me you still have a good KDA. That is something that helps your team win.

KDA is meaningless...it is an objective game.
