Support Main, Tried Bard, pretty meh
I was pretty hyped at first when i saw Bard, because on paper, he looked cool as heck.
In-game? Well he is pretty much useless. Id much rather continue on with Janna, Leona or Thresh than this guy.
In lane, i can't do much at all to pressure lane, since all i can do is Q, and once in a while the passive(that is pretty meh, ill get to that later). The heal costs 30% of your total mana, so you can't really use it to refill your adc. You often end up oom quickly, so thats where chimes are supposed to be really good. Problem? They don't appear near you on the map, they could very well just pop at mid lane or somewhere dumb like that. So you have to leave the lane for that, which in any other meta than this one right now would be fine, but with Leona and Thresh as popular as they are now, your adc will get eaten alive by the time you come back, which brings me to my next point: This support was designed to roam. Cool right? Well, you can't roam when you aren't winning your lane or your adc dies. If you are? Well pretty much all other supports are fully capable of roaming too, a surprise gank from a Leona or Thresh may actually be much more deadly than one from a bard.
But his passive, he scales well! Well, not really, you aren't rewarded for the chime minigame, because they are time based, not number based, so even if your chime collection is on par, you will never be able to get an advantage of roaming actively.
Some other minor points would be that his ult travel speed is too slow, and that his tunnel is really buggy combined with pathing, making it difficult at times to walk in it.
