Roughly seven years ago, the title of this thread was found all over these boards. The issue? Fiddlesticks had more than one form of hard CC... at the time, a rarity in League. Most of the champions released for a couple of years had, maybe, one form of hard or soft CC. That was it. It was a Promise from RIOT Games. A lot of champions had absolutely none.

Now? Well, a champ isnt complete now without a guaranteed form of CC or three. What happened here?

Originally it was either escape or CC... anyone else waiting for Ezreal to suddenly be able to stun?

The day they rework Ezreal into having a stun is the day humanity has lost.

They have even given EVE a form of CC now.

And its really crap.

I would rather it be turned into a projectile charm, and give me extra damage else were. They gated all the damage into a very hard to activate cc.

If they did that and removed the mr shred, mages wouldnt be cancer mid lane in eve games, and she wouldnt be gated in damage.

I have mixed feelings about her Q, I kinda want it reverted, or something inbetween, like the way it is now without the initial projectile, and just the short line of spikes as a spammable... SKILL SHOT!

RiP Waveclear.

It could work. I'd like to atleast try it on PBE. :(

Heh, you should do some googling regarding old Eve. . .

Been dealing with Eve since she was released. She didn't have CC originally.

Sadly it is "Let's give Zoe a hard-to-use skillshot that rewards good players with quick assassinations" "What if no one can land the hard-to-use skillshot?" "Good point! Let's make her E cc someone for three whole seconds!"

Basically, yes. It gives her an guaranteed shot for 60%+ of your health at low levels... because pure Skillshot Champs are 'too hard.'
