Could Taric be consider a Juggernaut

If he isn't should he. I know he is mainly a tank but he doesn't have a lot of cc like other tanks and all his damage require him to walk up to you,

If he is more balance as a Juggernaut, I think Taric might be a good opportunity for a physical damage support. Also I think he should be more close to tank than to Juggernaut

Let say there is a scale 1 being juggernaut and 10 being tank

1Mordekaiser 2 Darius Garen 3 4 5 6 7 Taric 8 9 10Amumu

something like that

Could Taric be consider a Juggernaut

I don't think he really fits the bill.

Juggernaut, as far as I understand it, mostly just means tanky DPS. The fighter that exclusively uses defense to survive long enough to do damage, the Barbarian class in your standard fantasy game.

Essentially: Fighter.

Main issue with Taric is he isn't tanky DPS. He isn't a fighter. He's tanky CC, a straight-up tank.

His main goal isn't to survive long enough to do damage like any self-respecting barbarian or juggernaut. His job is more the paladin roll of initiating a fight, locking down priority targets, peeling and protecting his allies, buffing his team, debuffing his opponents, and making a point to take hits for his allies.

And as far as any potential reworks are concerned: "Tank" really does heavily allude to a Paladin. Taric is more of a Paladin than any other champion in LoL.

If anything, his rework should move him to a 10/10 on the tank scale and make him everything a Tank primary means. Riot would be doing an injustice to Taric players if they made him a fighter. Not that AP adventures Taric isn't fun or top-lane isn't the best place to take him ATM, but he really should be more of a Maokai, Leona, or Braum than a Sion, Nasus, or Darius.

Also, there are plenty of Nasus wanna-be champions in LoL.

There aren't a whole lot of proper tanks, so running in the tank direction would allow for a more unique niche and reason to pick Taric.

I totally agree with you, I was just curious if would he be classify as juggernaut and should he.

Personally i think he should have a threat level that if you get too close to him he can ruin your day. The thing i like about him is his passive other champ (tank support ) have this too. Braum Passive deal give him more damage with his auto after procing the 4th hit, Tahm Kench ult passive. All three of them have some form of autos enhancer.

As tank support goes i think he should be more like Tahm and Braum who are more likely to stay by their carry rather than say an Alistar or Leona who want to initiate or catch an enemies carry, not saying you shouldn't peel for them though, it just what they tend to do.

Juggernauts are generally Tanks, but Taric is a Support first.

You could argue that since Alistar and Thresh got their own buffs during the update that they're Juggernauts, but I'm not inclined to agree with that.

Taric is much more likely to be reworked into a Support before a Juggernaut or even general Tank.

Taric actually does deceptively well top lane. Take defensive oriented masteries and runes, and build towards ice born gauntlet. Once you get sheen your damage goes up well.

Pre 6 you can farm pretty well with that stun and heal helping to survive tougher lanes, but even per 6 if you are pushed to your tower you can make some nice trades. Post 6 and with sheen and other icebirn item you can really jack up alot of tops. With that passive and sheen you can pump out some surprising damage while still being tanky. Pretty fun, try it

I wrote this with Top lane Taric in mind XD. It even better when your match up is ad oriented
