so tell me why
they removed an awesome tank item in
to make it into a safety net for long range/immobile mages?
i mean isn't one of riot's philosophies that if you want straight up damage you're gonna have to sacrifice some defense?
it just seems stupid because ever since this item comes out ive been seeing a bunch of long range and/or immobile mages build it first or second item and get a noticeable damage spike on top of HUGE survivability/advantage in trades when its up
also its not hard to stay out of combat for 40 seconds. just back and run to lane and its back up.
also, why make new GA 100x better for ad carries like

these two items just make snowballing worse. now instead of seeing a
or 
build it 4th, 5th, or 6th item to give extra survivability in late team fights, we see
build it first second or third in order to snowball even harder because it offers attack stats AND a powerful passive.
trade off used to be that you gave up attack stats to be a negligibly tankier and be able to revive in teamfights. now its trade off is nonexistent because it's a BF sword with revive
