How do you climb out of Bronze?

I'm at a loss with this game right now. I practice my champs, I read up as much as I can about strategy & optimization but none of it matters. I generally do pretty well for the most part, but it feels like regardless of what I do I am bound to lose unless I'm prepared to carry. And even though I try my best to do so, it isn't always easy/possible. Just check my match history. Very rarely do I feed, I try to ward as much as I can, I understand wave management, and generally win my lane match up but its rarely enough. I cant keep my mid, jg, or bot duo from feeding or ignoring objectives. I cant make my team go Baron after we wipe the enemy team...

Like, what do I do? Any advice will help.

Try going 12-0-18 on Illaoi and taking Grasp of the Undying. TLD isn't that great on her.

You should probably change up your build or your champion. If you full damage illaoi, I probably messes up your comp and it's hard to be a squishy champion AND immobile

ive had some luck using storm raiders in the past. its really fun and helps her sticking power which she severely lacks. i usually go 2 dmg items very rarely more than that also i personally find this build is fun and effective if you can get away with it item 3071 ->item 3812 ->item 3065 -> TANK but you should always adjust your builds according to the enemy teams champs, comp, who are current enemy threats, who's getting fed, what dmg types are their major threats, if dmg threats are too mixed to specialize consider building high health items, who's going to scale late game etc. also always keep in mind what roll you play within your own team comp and what roll your team is lacking and need you to fill, do you have a good team fight comp, any good wombos, any CC on your team that can help keep enemy champs in your ult, are you looking to group siege towers a poke with E, are you spliting, is your team really squish and in need of a good tank, do you need to help peel diving threats for carries etc.

never underestimate the power of TANK

@ OP

focus on last hitting in lane, some people will say X Cs is required at X time, but thats a myth because your CS is effected by a lot of things. a general rule of thumb is if you have more CS then you're laner and more kills your doing it right

secondly, what i do is a play auto attack based carries yasuo xin yi etc etc they allow you to end the game yourself and be a second ADC ( never trust your adc in any rank imo)

next REAAAALLLY work on that game knowledge you got to learn how to abuse people making mistakes https://plays.tv/video/5754d3559ef997b1e4/how-to-abuse-a-downed-towers-and-no-vision?from=user every time i slow pushed a wave ( OH ALSO WAVE MANAGE IS REALLY COOL TO LEARN) jinx ran straight to it regardless of towers/vision ) these are the player you have to abuse to get yourself lead.

To get out of bronze you have to fit these requirements:

  1. Get 160 CS or more in 20 minutes if you play mid/top/ADC. Here's a proper guideline: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/4lqmfMGZ-rate-my-cs-in-20-minutes
  2. Avoid dying more than 5 times each game
  3. Don't main more than 3 champions or play champions with high skill caps: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/0zrALvE4-if-youre-a-noob-like-me-you-should-by-be-playing-these-champions
  4. Make sure your builds/runes fit the matchup.
