Did I really Deserve a Permanent Ban for this?

Granted, I was not sportsman like, but in a match where I'm being called a piece of shit amongst other things, as well as having people call out for reports in chat /all etc, did this really warrant a permanent ban? At one point I excited chat all together because I was frustrated and wasn't even responding to the flame. The Kayne for example was calling me out for making league bad and my response was ok I thought. Kalista called me a piece of shit multiple times, and when I made a good play, I'm asking if I'm still a piece of shit? The much better than yours at the bottom, was again a response to flame. But I get reported and permanently banned? Seems severe imo.

I've been toxic in the past, but I thought I'd really cleaned up my behavior and hadn't even played league before yesterday for over a month. I return, and the below was enough to have my account permanently banned? It's extremely frustrating, especially given all the money I've poured into this game. I don't expect much to come from this other than me being forced to start all over again, but I really don't understand how this system is fair or balanced. While I may not have been on my best behavior, I don't see how this warrants the punishment received regardless of what I'd done in the past.

The chat log was enough to get you punished. Any behavior that earns a punishment can eventually get you banned due to how the system escalates punishments if you do not show you are reforming: some excessive behaviors just get you banned sooner.

As to your later comment about this being a game for adults: it's actually a game for ages 13+. Additionally, many adults (myself included) do not enjoy being harassed, insulted, and abused during our leisure time. As such, League has a system in places to remove those who insult or abuse others from the player pool.

Did you have a 14 day Ban? If yes then its justified cause you still showed toxic/unsportsmanlike behaviour.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that you don't necessarily have to make a "perma-worthy infraction", but that your escalating punishments build towards that, if you're on your 14-days ban and you do something punishment-worthy, it's going to keep escalating.

bruh same shit happened to me i dont know what to say riot will destroy themselves removing players aint gone help the community atleast 1 month or 2 month ban after your 14 days ban would help alot believe me but getting rid of players like this isnt going to help riot or the players them selves they will just make a new account and move on from there riot change this system for god sake .

I often wonder how people get banned from this game when ive never even been warned, while also thinking that some of these perma bans seem harsh even if I would've reported you too. but then I gotta ask, how did you already get to the point where you had a 14 day ban and 4 other penalties before that?

I would like to add that I've never been banned from any game or social media platform in my life. Not WoW or HoTS, Facebook, twitter, the Playstation network or otherwise so this is all a bit jarring. I'm still shocked that's enough for a permanent ban.
