Why Was URF Pushed To The End of the Cycle Instead of Postponed?

After the double nexus siege, instead of going back to URF the next week, it was tacked to the end of the cycle. Any clarity on why riot?

It'll coincide with the Worlds semiFinals*. You can absolutely bet they're doing some stupid event "Whichever region plays the most games gets a summoner's icon and IP Boost! URF counts tooooooo!!!!!!!!!!"

While there has been no information of such, I think they are trying to fix the issues with the small pool of champions people play in URF. This may be why they pushed it back.

I remember reading on someone's post somewhere that it has been removed since they took away the ability to get chests and tokens from all maps but summoners rift. But since URF on the same map they had trouble removing it.

Again I don't know if it's true but it could be a starting point if you wanna know the truth.
