Rest in Peace Yi..

Yi just isn't as good as he was before, its time he hits his prime. Sadly the season 5 changes make the jungler monsters much stronger, and the spawn times are longer. Yi is dead now, but I propose some new changes to Yi to make him not a crazy 1 shot guy, and instead make him have more mechanics involved for the good Yis. Here we go..

Yi's passive is one of the reasons why Yi is, Yi. However, it doesn't do much early game. You do the same amount of damage as one strike, but you do TWO!! :O!! I have put an extra buff to this, so that his clear times are improved while making sure his teamfight experience will not be buffed. Yi's attack speed is buffed the more time he attacks a target up to a cap. This buff is very small, but can help out early. The cap for attacks are 3, and are 10%,30%,50%. Yi is very squishy, but a very versatile champion.

If Yi kills a monster with his true damage sword form, the true damage form will last 2 seconds longer.

These changes are small, but will give Yi that boost to get back in season 5. Disagree or agree? Or do you just plain out think I am crazy? Reply in the replies, I am glad to have any feedback on this idea.

And that "small" attack boost would make yi broken as fuck.

im pretty sure the reason why yi is yi is cuz of his funky head gear and alpha strike... also isnt that idk sorta like jax's passive?... oh shit he gots the funky head gear too

yi is surprisingly already mechanically involved... its just thats its not required to faceroll people...

Alpha Strike target you intend to attack. Mash R, 1 for your Yomuu's blade, and E all at the same time, and watch your opponent melt while he can't get away... that is NOT mechanically involved. If you wan't mechanically involved, play Ori, or Aziz.

I've started to pick up Yi because of s5. Check my match history with Yi and you can see he is not bad in this new jungle. I've hyper carried 2 of my games, and lead my team to win in about 4-6(idk rough estimate) He's absolutely fine and actually requires a bit of skill to master his abilities.

Yi got pretty good buffs in Season 5. Devourer+Skirmisher's is just brutal on him atm. Even with the nerfs, he's still going to out-duel carries.
