TL ; DR : Revert these changes, I don't like them.

I have over 300k mastery points, and I'm at Plat IV, for some that may mean my opinion doesn't matter, but please hear me out. I don't want Riven buffs, or nerfs, she's at her most balanced state that she has ever been. It's nice to be able to just spam Riven in ranked, you know? Call me a "dirty riven main kys!", or whatever you want, but I don't want these buffs to come in. People will ban, people will pick her more often, and it'll be harder to get her.

Riven is in a perfect spot, she may seem on the "stronger" side for some, but honestly, she isn't insane at the moment. I don't want Riven to be the overpowered, pick or ban type of champion.

EDIT : 9:46 A.M EST Aug 16 Some say that me, saying "I don't want her to be banned," isn't a legitimate concern, well it sort of is. First off, let me get this off my chest, Riven is in a perfect spot, if you suck with her, you feed 0/10, if you can animation cancel, well great! Riven is in the most balanced spot she has ever been in, around 50%. Maybe the "ban or pick", concern may not be a legitimate gameplay concern, but it is a personal one for you all.

I see all of you wanting 5 bans per team, right? Well, I guess now one of those bans will be a ban, and you can't ban other strong champions you despise. Reverting these buffs benefit us all, Riven mains, and Riven haters. Sound good?

Riot is just preparing for the hyper gutting after the reselling of the championship riven skin at worlds. Moneygrabbing and then hyper nerfing riven into oblivion. They did the same with the dragonblade riven skin release so yeah, riot is greedy and it shows at changes like this. When riven was shit after season start they didnt buff her, now the meta kinda is good for her and NOW she gets a 120 damage increase on her ult, I dont understand their balance team at all.

I'd say she's on the weak side. You probably don't notice it as much because you are a Riven main and will do well with her regardless.

She's currently shat on by all the tank brusiers in the Meta (Volibear, Malphite, Darius, etc.) And even then is outclassed by most champions; There isn't a really good reason to pick Riven right now over anyone else, as shes an incredibly risky pick due to her feast or famine nature, and in end the not really worth picking at all.

Damage buff is kinda unnecessary to riven. I only want the ult projectile speed thing back:c

True Riven mains don't need silly buffs, they rely on their own mechanicz.

Honestly as a guy who hates Riven, I think people need to make the distinction between 'OP' and 'stupid cancer'

Riven might be stupid cancer, but she's not OP. These buffs might change that, but at the moment she's an under-performer despite her annoyingness, just like Feed Sin.

Have you thought that maybe it's because three of her hardest counters got buffed last patch and they plan on nerfing Ghostblade in the future which is core.

Yeah at first I thought it was just a buff to her late game ult, which I was fine with (could still be lower in damage though), but then I realized it was a buff for her ult at all levels.

Its perfectly fine to buff the minimum damage, because lets face it Riven players feel like shit when there ult doesn't do shit. Also, if Riven doesn't get ahead then she can be near useless, so a late game buff would be nice for her (but not that big of one).

I feel like this won't make her super OP. Yes, her ult windslash is stronger, but I feel like most Riven's overpower their opponent with animation cancels that let them auto while using all 3 Q strikes.
