I've returned to jungling, not because it's a good role.

The sheer amount of people auto-filled for jg because jg mains don't want to play the role any more is staggering. What we're left now is bonobos being forced into playing jg with no idea what they're doing, with a negative mindset "I don't like to play jg, I was forced to". At the slightest death of a minion tax, an all out war between the jungler and the laners break loose with either or both party deciding to go on a troll fest. The only thing I can consistently count on now is the enemy jungler being bad and the playerbase's negative mentality to climb. No skill needed, just the ability to mute all chat and wait for the enemy team to troll itself before your team does.

Do I think jungling is still in a bad position? Yes. Do I think you can climb fast with jungling? Yes. Remember, there is always another poor sod on the other team experiencing the god forsaken situation you are in. You just need to ensure they tilt before you do. Diamond junglers hate this role as much as bronze junglers. They cycle of nerfs and buffs will continue, but the players' childishness is eternal. You are not queueing a role to carry. You are queueing a role to be the most adult person on both teams.
