Azir and Ahri get meaningful nerfs that encourage counterplay but not Zed

I am happy with the Azir and Ahri nerfs but I was NOT happy with Zeds attack speed "nerf" he still lacks counterplay unless you are a massive counter like Lissandra

Yes, because people need to be Challenger in order to identify balance issues.

That's like saying you need to have a PHD in English to point out gramatical mistakes, or be a world famous chef in order to know how to cook ramen.

Come back if you have something actually witty to troll with,

why would anyone listen to silvers when they dont even know the basic of the game to climb the ladder rofl game balance should never be compared to real life situation

I thought I told you to come back when you had something actually witty to say. You still fail to impress.

Knowing the basics of the game is one thing, executing on them is another, and the amount of time spent playing ranked is a third. It astounds me that trolls ignore 2/3rds of what it takes to climb, insisting that it's only knowledge of the game that determines if a person can rise or fall in the ranks.

Game balance is based on knowledge of interactions. You can gain that knowledge via your own experience, or by watching the interactions between other players games. The complaints about Lee Sin are often based on watching professional games and realizing that there's never a situation where Lee Sin doesn't work for a team comp. Similarly, the complaints about Zed can be based off of watching professional players.

Go back to your bridge.

I dunno, man, I don't see challenger players whining about Zed, or even banning him out. It's just a whole boards thing to whine about him, I guess they wanna play a mage they have 2 games on, but since they have no idea how to play it, they get rekt.

About the attack speed nerfs, challenger players kinda realised how big it was, it even dropped his winrate by 2%.

I think High level play has better coordination. Zed may be a dominant force against squishies, but really can't survive when Bruisers or tanks peel. Also Zed has lost some of his fall back potential with his recent nerfs targeting his split push power.

While there certainly is some of that going on (I'd be a fool to deny that), there are some valid concerns about his state: http://lol.gamepedia.com/2015_EU_LCS_Spring/Scoreboards/Round_Robin/Overview

Zed is currently tied with Rek'Sai for most banned champion in the EU LCS with 17 bans each. You don't get to that status unless the pros think that there's something problematic about your kit.

That said, it's pretty incredible how vastly different the stat is on the NA side of things, where Kassadin has been banned 24 times, and Zed has only been banned 4 times (For reference, in the EU Kass has been banned 14 times). I haven't watched enough of the NA LCS to have any idea why the difference is so high, but I suspect it comes down to team comps.

Azir nerfs just a tad too much or incorrectly handled.

He lost a bit of base damage on Q. Other than that, his potential damage output to champs is unchanged.

It's a lot though, should've been more like 20-30 at all ranks.

And damage isn't everything, the range reduction is extremely significant.

GaleWinUnleashed2 votes

Range changes tend to be the most significant things that can happen to a champion.

Exactly. Thank you.

No Azir is fine they didnt touch his champ damage other than his q and thats only base.

Riot still needs to buff mana regen before we can continue to complain about energy champs. I remember when Ziggs was common, but he was at least deal able.
