The Black Market Brawlers items are awesome

So, why don't we have these in the regular game?

It shows how much more can be done with items that hasn't been attempted in the normal version of the game.

The one that makes you look like an ally champion... priceless.

Which is the real ADC and which is the malphite? Mawahaha.

Seriously should consider adding items from other game modes to SR.

They probably are considering it. They are probably using the BMB as a testing ground for the new items, and figuring out which ones people like, and which ones end up with interesting game play. Thought they will probably reiterate though them before doing so. So we might not see such items until the next season.

That literally just happened to my team. We where super behind and they had a fed Riven and a Rengar, but we had a Amumu and a Kog. Amumu bought the item and then leona engaged with Amumu looking like Kog. They blew everything to kill amumu, who Ulted and died, but Kog was free hitting in the back and we won.

They'd be too OP to the point that they would be nerfed into the ground sooner or later. I think they should just keep BBM as a whole.

I bet you that they are using BBM as like a testing grounds to the Rift changes we will see in Season 6.

Remember how in the pre-season, Riot, wanted to find more ways to win?

What more ways to win than by using your minions to strategically push lanes and siege towers? It's perfect. Albeit a bit confusing at first.

Honestly, I hated it at first. Now I finally understand the game mode, and I hope definitely typhoon claws come back for sure and some of the other items.

Typhoon Claws is an awful item, and I hope it never makes it to competitive play. It's fun to use but it makes all the issues that devourer brings up even worse, because now you don't even have to charge it up. Like devourer it lets you proc effects like Vayne's silver bolts in span of 4 autos (all three bonus autos go off at about the same speed as one normal) except now you get an extra 150% auto damage in there alongside the 6 on-hit procs.

You would only get 2 procs, it doesnt stack with devourer either so no need to worry about that. Its a pretty interesting item, tristana can use it in some cool ways, you auto 2 or 3 times then e and get your empowered autos and a super strong q harass.

I fell for it once even though i knew what it did. We had a mirror match leona mf botlane and i was laning against brand as malz mid. (Internal dialogue) guys, why did mf buy sorcerer's elixir... Oh dear god it's brand Thankfully i caught on and unloaded my combo first but he survived just long enough to kill me before dying to my ignite

I'm liking the sand saber one, great for giving immobile adcs and escape, that's not totally risk free. And yeah I see how it could be supper OP on Kalista as just a start to to pain it would cause.

One of the issues with these items is that almost all of the items are decent, but very abuseable by a few select champs. item 3924 basically turns Nasus's niche in the toplane into an item, item 3431+item 3116 is evidently pretty broken on Malzahar, and item 3150 gives mobility to people who really shouldn't have it (Use Ashe, kite them, when they dash/flash to you use the active, spam Laugh over their body).

The items are all fun and some of them might make it to normal SR, but my guess is that most of them aren't there already because of abuse cases with them.

The more times I use fleshreaver the less impressed by it I become. It delays core items that help in fights in favor of additional in lane sustain assuming you can stack it.

kile1471 votes

Try it on Sion. It gives you all the sustain you need in lane and now you have a champ who has infinitely scaling AD and HP. Rush Fleshreaver and you become very difficult to remove from lane, and then you can just build tank items and still be viable because you're Sion, and over the course of stacking it your abilities all start doing some pretty obscene damage.

I thought the new items were pretty neat, even the support one. But I wish there was a new passive or aggressive support item. I felt a little left out while my opposing thresh made millions since he could tank a little damage after the shield wore off.

Some of these items are too much DOTA-ish to my tastes, but i love some others. Puppetter and the mirror are one of those, but they are really fun to play while the mode is on. I am not sure if i would tollerate them in normal however.

please dont put the mimick item in game riot

while it might be fun when adc's and normal mages use it on themselves

but in combination with champions who have hard to land but insanely impactfull skills this it too much to take

a blitzcrank changes into someone realy weak ... and the weak guy hides while blitz rolls with the team people will walk into his grabs and there is no indication of who the guy is the similar thing happens when someone else copies a blitz ... zoning for ages cause nobody is bold enough to get close

I would really love that ap movespeed item, I've been using it on veigar and it really helps him a lot. Gives him everything he would get from morello + movespeed on damage even on creeps which gives him a nice disengage option if he misses his skillshot in lane. Also in teamfights as long as I hit a tank I can kind of kite melees which was very difficult to do before. I also run 3 ms quints and take the 3 in utility for movespeed to synergize.

item 3829 active could be a nice ultimate on a new champion. But as an item it's just too interesting. People would buy it even if it wasn't the best choice of action just for the fun.

I recently discovered "Staff of Flowing Water" - while I was playing Nami! For real, I just dropped everything (read: made getting it my #1 priority) and had to try it asap, just for the extreme obvious factor of the item. :D

And yeah, that mirage blade (I think that was the name) - my first experience with that was "why are there 2 of me...? And why can't I MOVE AWAY FROM THE ENEMY TOWER!!?! (panics).....oh, how did Leona suddenly look like me? O.o...And where am I now?".

I don't think I've ever experienced calm, panic, relief and anxiety all in a matter of seconds in this game before. xD
