i upgrade my trinket almost every game when im in a non support role to help the cause. i keep getting supports in bronze 5 ranked that wont even ward. then they ask why i am not playing aggressive as an adc. then later in the game my team loses jungle fights due to no vision. do supports now officially have heads up there *** here in bronze. is warding something only used in lcs to win games. when i go support i always get a sightstone then upgrade my trinket to a pink. these games end up being 1 sided games that my team loses. either im winning my lane and the fed bottom lane comes up. other stuff the jungler getting fed off of bot lanes stupidity happens. then my lane falls when i get taken out by a fed jungler.

Even when you ask them to rush sightstone they just brush you off and build AP.

I'm the same way as you, the first thing i always try to buy is a sightstone. You know, so you know when a gank is coming. But i switch my trinket to a sweeper instead.

I have had times where i would buy a sightstone as a ADC or other role, granted i have the extra funds to do so without sacrificing my items at the time, because our support just refuses to even buy a ward, let alone a sightstone that gives your 4 free every time you recall.

I have even seen someone post something on here saying that they would NEVER buy a sightstone, but instead only upgrade Vision Trinket to get the 2 free. --.-- Free wards last 1 minute with a 2 minute cooldown. Sightstone wards(800 gold and refresh every recall)and normal wards(75 gold) Last 3 minutes.

I think people just don't care in the lower part of ranked and it really takes away from those who are actually trying to move up. Especially when you try to play ADC with one of these people.

I am gonne get allot of downvotes for this

but if your at the elo where no one wards pls dont buy a sightstone unles you see enemy team upgrading trinketa / buyig sightstones

just buy some lose wards and upgrade trinket you only need ss if your buying sweeper if noone warding you dont need a sweeper so dont waste 800 gold to a ss

If the enemy is not warding, that is not a reason for you to not ward.

This has got to be the dumbest counter-argument to buying a sightstone on a support that i have ever heard.

Again, sightstone costs 800 and you got 4 wards every time you recall. Place all of them, recall. 4 more wards. Money well spent. And that can go on because those wards only last 3 minutes. Trinket wards only last 1 minute and has a 2 minute cooldown after use. That means you have 1 minute where you are blind to the enemy and cannot place a ward.

Buying individual wards over the course of a 30-40 minutes game can get pretty costly.

Sightstone was made for supports because they lack the amount of gold income other roles get. You want to be spending your money on other items, Armor, MR, AP(If you are a healer). 800 gold is not a lot to ask of you. Especially considering the Support items give you a small gold increase since you are not farming CS.

Where did you read not to ward i said ward but dont buy ss

you really dont need a sightstone to ward you need a sightstone to get a sweeper now if you dont need a sweeper you dont need a sightstone not getting a sightstone does not mean not warding

you can place a purple in the bush/river defend it and make it to lvl 9 by buying some wards This way save money to buy other needed items

like i said this is only the case if you notice the enemy team isnt buying wards/warding cause this way you dont need a SWEEPER

They are just bad supports. Not necessarily bronze. Just bad. Or maybe they forced into supporting. I buy SS every game as my 1st or 2nd item. There ARE legit supports out there.

everyone saying free wards only last a minute are only partially right, at lvl 9 they double the amount of time they last so you always have a ward, but if a supp isnt buying sightstone they should buy pink wards, and if you want extra vision invest the 75 gold to buy a 3 minute ward, the three minions worth of gold wont make you useless in teamfights...
