Support Rework?

The Support Rework...didn't, really. Support is still the least picked role, not because no one wants to play the kind of game Support offers, but because it is a punishing role that gets no respect. Can we get a Support Rework Rework? I think the role of Support is much more defined than it was a couple years back, with better expectations of what the role should mean and do. With that experience in mind, I think Rito could really make the Support role a fun and higher-picked aspect of the game.

I'd like to see more champions like Thresh and Bard introduced into the game. It's a LOT more fun to play support than it used to be in the beginning. Initiate, high utility supports can actually carry. I'd also like more vision options. I hate that in order to have decent vision, you have to waste a slot on Sightstone. I don't feel the changes to two items that could be turned into SS were enough in that regard.

Also, remove Soraka because she makes the game less fun. Where's the exciting interaction in being a dispenser?

The interactions with your team and enemies trying to not let you get killed or to murder your ass. Soraka is one of few champs I see in bot lane that are generally the primary target and NOT an adc. Playing soraka is like playing Kog: Everyone wants you dead yesterday. I find that enjoyable.

The role is already fun, items and gold income could use some love.

That is what I was trying to say - the gameplay of pure support champs is something people want. Healing, shielding, peeling - certain players really enjoy that style of defensive gameplay that is more than just dodging or getting super beefy. Well timed defensive play is great. The problem is that many aspects of it just aren't working. And I think itemization is a big part of that.
