How people act in normal games.

I'm not usually the type to play normal games. From my past experience there are far too many trolls. But I bought kalista the other day, and i've been practicing her in normal games. I'm not super tryhard in normal games, but I still play to the best of my ability.

My question to you guys is: Do you guys experience a lot of afkers in your normal games? between now and yesterday I played 5 normal games and 4/5 of them had an afk on one side or the other. My last game had two. It's not fun if people afk on either side, one sided games are never fun. Is it okay to afk in normal games? No one seems to care or even bat an eye. If a game isn't going my way am I allowed to just afk? Are normal rules different than ranked?

I would like some clarification and some discussion regarding this post, thanks. :)

if everyones feeding and trolling norms, its okay cuz its not ranked if everyones feeding and trolling in ranked, its okay cuz its just a game if everyones feeding and trolling in general, its okay cuz this is typical of league

The problem is that asking your team to surrender because the game is snowballed against you is considered toxic. So is asking your team to surrender because the match simply isn't fun anymore. Hell even calling too many surrender votes is considered toxic!

So your options become:

  1. Keep moving around and half-assed play a match you don't want to, hoping the enemy team doesn't want to just farm kills.
  2. Try to get your team to understand that going and playing another match is better for everyone and risk getting time banned or chat restricted.
  3. Go AFK or leave the game and do something else until it ends, because being flagged AFK is much less harmful to your account than trying to surrender.

Seriously.

No I don't, but I do get a lot of people who take them very seriously for just a normal game

me and my friends have actually tested the whole mass report theory. played on a team of 5 of my friends, all four of them reported me for the same thing every game. Not once did I say anything in chat. ANYTHING. and after about 5 games of 4 reports a game I ended up with a 10 game chat restriction. I put in a ticket and riot told me that they judged me chat to be "toxic". literally not a word said in the game. Riot's report function is actually broken.
