Infernal drakes

Played a game today in platinum elo. You know, the new Iron.

Team was ahead 5-0. Every lane was winning. Every lane had priority.

Enemy team roams 5 man to do infernal drake at about 10 minutes. Our jungle shaco was farming top side red buff and raptors for 2 minutes. He didn't show up to this skirmish at all. Several of us got killed and shut down contesting the drake and then we lost the drake.

The shaco, being platinum, then informed us we were all bad for showing up to the infernal drake and contesting it. He really needed top side raptors I guess.

Anyway, what should I do as a player when my jungle doesn't show up to contest objectives? Do we just give them up? We stood around not engaging for a very long time hoping the Shaco would show up. He just never did. He really wanted those Raptors.

This happened 3 times. There were 3 infernals in the game and he didn't contest any of them. Well, the second one I think he showed up, stealthed into 5 people and instantly died.

He had good player damage dealt, high KP, and a so forth. He just didn't feel the need to contest a single objective in the game and we ended up throwing our leads in every lane.

What is the right play to make when you have a jungler like that?

I'm asking here because the plat 3 shaco says we're all garbage and need to get good.

You should make sure to pick a character with heavy crowd fighting skills if you have a shaco jungle. Not that they are a bad pick persay, but they aren't exactly going to tank the damage for you.

Miss Fortune, Taric, Vel'Koz, Sion Varus, Sona, Annie, Irelia. Ashe, Morgana, Lux, Malphite. Xayah, Rakan, Yasuo, Karma. Neeko, Alistar, Zoe, Yorick.

Lots of strong comp choices that can easily fight 4 v 5.

Just make sure you pick in a manner that contributes to the team, not just what you feel like playing.

My best would be just rush in when the jungler refuses to contest it since the chance is you cant take it if the enemy jungler alive so rush in and kill jungler is the best bet you have at that time, or try to burst down the drake as velkoz supp had some times when i did get drke even tho enemy jungler hit smite.

Best way to get dragons is to ping the time they are going to spawn consistently and maybe even say "pls be ready for drag"

I ping drags all the time and it works most of the time to where I dont need to say anything when the drag actually spawns

when the drag is already up many people just dont want to do it unless you kill both bot players or enemy jg
