REMOVE AUTOFILL FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

Not because I hate the support role. I'm a wicked Blitz player with over 60% winrate in 50 games. But because I'm tired of losing because of teammates who have no idea what their role is. Here's what I mean:

Autofilled support: "I didn't pick exhaust vs. Jhin because he only has 4 shots" Autofilled ADC: Doesn't know how to cs when being poked by two people. Autofilled mid: Can't comprehend that there are 8 points to get ganked from and doesn't play safe. Autofilled jgl: Doesn't know how to last smite/Doesn't know methods of clearing camps and gets executed by raptors at lvls 3 and 5. Autofilled Top: Thinks TP bot is always a good decision cos "moar LCS plays".

It's fcking annoying. I want to play a QUALITY game with teammates who at least know their shit. Back when pick order was still a thing, people learnt multiple roles and were par or just above par in those roles. But then you introduced New champ select and people forgot how to play roles that took them YEARS to learn. Now autofill is back and it's all fcked up. Remove autofill or bring back old champ select. Sick of this shit tbh.

I would argue that if you want to play a QUALITY game then they should remove secondary role's as well. Nobody picks the role they're best at as secondary and when you're in ranked playing a skill based game that is measuring your own individual skill it seems wrong to force you onto something even you know you aren't best at. Let me play what I'm best at and only that.

In that case, if I play a champion that's good in 2 roles, I pick their best role as the main role and their secondary last. If I get autofilled, I brand support because you can actually become a second mid once you get some items. Just get an eye of watchers and build full AP afterwards. I do wukong or pantheon top and mid. I would do talon if he could do a brushed build and still oneshot. He has shittier scaling than pantheon but has better early game pressure IMO. Don't get me wrong. Pantheon has an extremely good early game. Talon just feels even more feast or famine. It's f I don't get it, I'm screwed because I suck at adc except MF. I could try to vayne Ashe or jinx but fail at it. Tristana hasn't been good for a long time. Ever since the 2nd rageblade rework. If I'm jg, I'll play vi.

I just pick mid and bot and play ziggs in both with veigar and jinx as backups should he get banned or picked.

When I mean QUALITY, I mean that everyone is competent enough to play a certain role instead of playing a role you are playing for the first time in 2 years.

I watched the entire avengers movie in the time I waited in the ranked que

The link is a story on OCE about a guy who was in B5 and had to wait on average 40 min per queue, that was even assuming the queue didn't get cancelled due to dodges and all that, and the complaint was about them being in the queue for so long they finished the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron before even getting into a match.

That was before autofill became a thing, as far as I know anyway.

Even on NA, if you remove autofill, the queue time would still grow exponentially.

I know why they put up autofill. But I believe the quality of the games is more important than queue times? And that dude in B5 was probably a bug of some sort. There are too many players in that elo for the q times to be that high.

Edit: And DQ was around then which used algorithms that increased q times because of the number of conditions.

yeah we should wait 20 mins just to get a match that MIGHT have people being able to play the role assigned to them and not get completely destroyed by their opponents. That will clearly be the better solution

Your sarcasm doesn't work on me. Personally I prefer old champ select. It forced people out of their comfort zones. It's the only reason I'm good at every role I play. Back them queue times weren't this high even in high elo. New champ select sucks because Riot didn't take into account the number of people that hated the support role so if it were up to me, bring back old champ select.

yeah the elusive 40+ min queue that never happen. Sorry but i have yet to see a single high elo stream even get past the 15 min mark in a long time. The most i have seen in the last few months is almost 10 min queues. Autofill is not making queues that long but nice try
