I know that. However whats the point of unlocking it when you can't change any masteries/runes to actually try out and such. I still cant see the logic

You won't know what to swap to until you try out the auto-pages anyway. What's the point of letting people swap around when they've played the game for only a few hours?

Again, you and I both know that, but the system isn't designed for us.

The newbies don't know that, so letting them choose is meaningless. They are equally likely to choose awful runes and good runes. It gets them into game faster to choose for them, so they can keep learning and get the xp needed to make those decisions.

Lots of players get hung up on analysis paralysis when confronted with lots of choices. If that's not you, congrats on having a mental trait for which you can take 0 responsibility! Other people don't work that way; the system helps them.

I get that part that when youre new you wouldnt understand whats good as in for runes. However, the game doesnt really pick the runes for you. it just gives you 4 default pages and thats it. I dont get analysis paralysis not because i dont take 0 responsibility, but because I know how to read and can make sense of what things could paired well with others. When the runes first came out, no one knew wtf to do... But we pulled it through. I literally played a game for every combination of runes and masteries on the champions im best at to understand how the new combinations worked

There are 2 ways to teach your kid how to swim: throw him in the pool and hope he doesn't drown, or teach him the basics for him to build upon and improve on his own. New leveling system favors the latter than the former.

Well the system is for people who have never played league before and dont know what the runes are actually good for. You and I can go back and forth about how much of a special boy you are, but it's honestly not going to get us anywhere. Peace.

I had never played league before I started playing LMAO. I used to play WoW , DOTA and Warcraft. And being a risk taker does make me special and better than you <3 BYE

Because when you're an actual new player, you won't understand what to do with all that stuff. They ease you into it.

Unless they actually changed the mechanics in tutorial and people play it for ever, i guess they'd be ease into it. When I started i dont remember LoL telling me what to build, what runes/masteries to have. Also, just because youre a new LoL player, doesnt mean youre new to MMORPG. This kinda gets on the way of ppl that already have some basic knowledge to the game

Yeah yeah, I read that a couple of days ago. You and I both know that this will take quite some time. Im actually glad they can make the summoners available at lowers levels. Its frustrating wanting to jungle but not being able to use smite
