So, how can u avoid getting autofilled without dodging on a ranked . Every single time i get autofilled i get put on bot or supp... my least desired roles. Free loss of LP. Does Riot really want you to climb ? hmmm. i understand that Riot wants us to play every role blah blah. But come on on a ranked ??? As far as i know/concerned, you're supposed to play the role youre best at/comfortable with

In other words learn to play all the roles. if you que for Top and mid judging by this post im figuring you do you are guaranteed to get autofilled. why you may ask? BECAUSE EVERY LEAGUE PLAYER IS A MID AND TOP MAIN. i mean like ffs branch out and get at least 1 champ that you enjoy for every role. Also if you were a jungle main im figuring you wouldnt be posting this as i run jungle and fill as my roles and i get jungle 14/15 games. and the 1 off game i get support? i play lux and get fed as shit and carry as another team AP carry.

That's nice, but you statistically can't carry the game every game or even most games because there are 9 other people in the game. Get over it.

I'm almost certain that he/she does, at least I hope he/she does.
For me at least,
It depends on how my lane is doing and how often their jg is botlane. If their Jg camps top and mid through top river and rarely shows bot, and my ADC is farming decently without the sight, ill go Lost Chapter first for lane harass and go for Sightstone right after and then build full AP from that point on. Many other factors play into this as well. My ADC warding as well as buying a control ward being one of them.
I know I probably shouldn't do that, But it has worked in my favor so far when I am able to do it.
If the Jungle is bot often, I rush Sightstone, then build AP.

You need to practice all roles because the higher you get, the more you will have to fill. I am a Support Main. Sometimes I have to go into other roles. This has taught me that I will not always get my role. There are rare cases where I don't get my role and I have to fill. This is why I decided to start practicing with a few champions and 1v1 my friends who main these roles. They teach me the in's in outs, the do's and don'ts . If I want to learn a particular champion, I watch someone who is really good with that champion (even if they aren't Pro, but high rank), look up common builds used for that champion. I then begin to practice CSing in customs, and then move into normal to face counters and those whom I would counter so that I can get a feel of that champions strengths and weaknesses and what they bring to teams, as well as when to and when not to pick them etc...
You can call it one way of improving.
