It's actually a joke how Riot takes pride in what they've done to Bottom. They have the boards going crazy about the new meta and they don't care. I HATE THIS NEW META. I do great in this meta. I just went 16-3 with Lux last game but seriously they might as well delete every marksman from the game. Thhey brag about how great Heimerdinger and Fiddlesticks are together Bottom. Like Riot is seriously trolling us. I hate this game now, it's no fun. Games arent long enough. Objectives are too easy to take. The game is close to being abandoned by the community. I've been playing since season 3 and I've got to say League is in the worst shape its ever been. I literally hate this game now. It's impossible for a marksman to come back if they fall behind.

To survive in this meta bot lane, you need one of three things:

  1. Bully potential (Miss Fortune, Draven, Lucian)
  2. Consistent poke (Brand, Heimerdinger, Fiddlesticks, Ezreal)
  3. Sustain (Vladimir, Swain, Darius if he can land his Q, Irelia)

Playing anyone who relies on passive farming and scaling (I.e. almost all marksmen) will not work most of the time, assuming that the enemy either isn't doing the same team and/or knows how to work around it.

Note: I excluded Kai'Sa and Xayah because they're most often used in funnels (Kai'Sa) or with one specific support (Xayah), so they don't apply to the majority of scenarios.
