What did they change last patch thats making games longer?

anmyauntieonpo1 votesnoticed the same thing. i think the new ap items are having a pretty big effect on the game thats all i can really point to. harder to win because more balanced team fights? i notice not as many aces happening alot of 4 for 3 type of fights with the last guy holding base under tower and then wave clearing until the next buff is up.
