Camille as a support

I can see how she will be able to support. She has stuns and slows. But when will we get another champ that is classified as support?

We just had Ivern , he is a support.. but yes used mostly in the jungle. Still classed under support.

He's classified as support? I think Riot was showing him as a jungler.

Did you read what I said? If you go to his champion page he is classified as a Support. Jungler is not a Classification.

Camille seems like a better support champ than Irvine.

Ivern is a supportive jungler, not a support. If he had a different passive or something than yeah we could argue over him being a support over a jungler, but his passive is designed with being a jungler in mind.

Yes, but again he is classed as a support because Jungler is a Position not a Role type.

Exactly, but what OP and I want is someone designed to fit in the Support role. Someone designed to be down there. Not just another Champion who can function as a support ( Lux Velkoz )

Ivern can function quiet well as a Support though. Passive aside, you don't need a full kit to be useful elsewhere.

I tried using his create brush ability while supporting one time and it didn't seem all that useful.

Very very useful in many cases. Especially useful if the ADC is Caitlyn.

Yes, but thats the same as playing Lux support. She wasn't designed for the role, yet she can function as it. This isn't me saying I don't like Ivern support, I in fact enjoy watching Iverns support, Its just that I don't want a champion who is supposed to be in one role but can support, I want a champion designed to be a support.

She probably won't be a support, considering they made sure to say how she was meant for Solo Lanes.

Hopefully next champion will be support, considering there doing all these things with support and we haven't had another support in a while.

I think the being able to get off a double stunn bot lane with e and having partial healing with w some true damage with q and the passiv sheild giving tank, might the first viable ad support

Big difference in role and class. Ivern is a Support Jungler. He is designed to be most effective as a Jungle pick but utilized in a support capacity. That's why you see the most successful Ivern's building support items but playing him in the Jungle. I don't see how on earth a Fighter can work in the Support role. That's some Season 2 strats (Xin kill lane anyone?)

Morg, annie and lux was mid champs but over time people used them as support too so now they kind of have two roles. And with all the stuns and slows Camille gets and her own shield, I am sure she can support well without building damage. Her ult is like a support spell as well.

I play Camille support. She has Op shields, and with masteries in Resolve and opening Colosus, you can engage with E, slow them, use ulty on adc , exhaust, and you will get huge huge shield while doing so... this is just op. Cause Redemption amplifies her shield I guess, and support health is how I play her. I dont know will Riot ban this. SImilar to Leona if you think about it... she engages and stuns, slows, only her ulty traps, which is better. if you ask me: )

Plus imagine on all this Camille + VAyne bot, Camille usess R and vayne just stuns them to a wall.
