Riot, when will more than 2 people in a party for ranked 5v5 go live?

That wouldn't change the fact that if you got trolled, you're going to get trolled way harder and with a majority, people will make the soloq players live's miserable.

I used to feel that way about it, but I am currently excited for it. I have a few friends I will enjoy playing with and we might not win all our games but it will be fun. As far as climbing, not sure how it will go. I am sure there will be some troll games, but then again there will be some games where the enemy team trolls and you get free wins.

The main thing it sounds like is if you play a solo game or a duo game and your team does well and you have fun playing with a couple of the players on your team you now have the option to ask them to group with you. I believe Riot wants players to group up more so hopefully over time people are more open minded to it and after you have a good game maybe you want to pair up with 1 or 2 people on your team. Maybe the next few games go well and you decide to play with those players more in the future?

Overall I am excited for it. Once it is implemented my opinion may change, but figure I will keep an open mind until I get to try it out.

I am low elo and I think it may have a positive impact on low elo. Not sure about high elo though.

Ranked should (hopefully) be fun, but that shouldn't be the goal. It's a competitive mode. Normals is the recreational mode.

Anyway, I'm not looking forward to it. I already stopped playing normals by myself anymore...I get matched in 4 man premades in only like 1/5 matches but many times it's just no fun. If you have a bad match or don't do what the other 4 people do (note: coordination is harder for the solo player) then many times you get flamed. And they can force a surrender. I've been in winning matches where 4 players would /ff just because they didn't want to play it anymore or to troll.

It does happen both ways so it kind of evens out. But evening out a poor experience on each team still means both sides have a poor experience more often than it should be.
