Hecarim in S5
Considering how you guys absolutely crapped on Hecarim by removing Spirit of the Elder Lizard and making the jungle so hard, he could use buffs.
Lower some cooldowns on his core kit at least, if not buff his sustain a bit through his W damage. I would prefer they added back the shockwave damage on the ultimate too but that really doesn't affect jungle power itself so it's fine if that's kept out but would prefer at least some kind of compensation buff.

on Hecarim s5 drops turrets pretty quickly. I'm new to the game but Hec has quickly become my favorite champion and some of the 4.20 items give him a unique niche as a jungler who can quickly change lanes to take down turrets or shepherd lane minions with
As jungle route i can smite/kill golems and get to crab as soon as it spawns. kill crab, do a quick driveby on mid lane with a 'w' 'q' combo making easy farming for my mid laner then kill the other crab and go back into the jungle to smite/kill toad -> bluebuff -> redbuff then either recall or gank bot or mid if there's an easy kill available. You should then have enough gold to upgrade the machete and get boots of mobility.
After that the game kind of decides what direction you take.
I should also say that with this route i usually put the first point in 'q' then ignore it for the lower cooldowns on 'w' and 'e' until lvl 9 otherwise i run out of mana trying to kill camps or lack the sustain that 'w' provides with the buff you get from smiting/killing the toad.

as your fourth or fifth if you're doing good.
Start Gromp, then Wolves, Raptors, Krugs, back to base, then get blue and red and feel free to gank to your pleasure.
Your initial clear isn't as good as it used to be, but once you've got some levels, it get a lot easier.
