I played Shen for the first time in months.

He felt good. I got my behind handed to me in lane (I'm a terrible top laner) by a Jax (went 0/2/0 the first 10 mins) but after I got 6 it was so liberating. I ulted our Caitlyn and joined her side, protected her and got a huge lead for her and our Twisted Fate mid. Then I could use TP to get back to top and after Sunfire and Tabis I started to outtrade Jax.

I had terrible farm (100 at like 30m?) but I was constantly on the move, it felt like the entire map was open. I saved both Cait and TF many times and ended the game at 9/3/19.

I think either my map awareness has improved a bit or my teammates were good so I could be a secondary support to them, that's why it felt so great to play Shen.

Definitely a hell of a champion, even more so after the rework (although I did miss being able to farm from range when I was losing lane).

(TL;DR pick up Shen if you're a top lane main looking for a supportive tank with good pressure and want to ruin the enemy ADCs day)
