Is pick order really random?

Because almost 80% of the time I play a carry role I will get 1st/2nd pick.. and the support is generally last on the list

New champion select. That's the actual thing of picking rolls and all the other new stuff. Dynamic queue is the ability to queue with up to 5 people in ranked

Yeah well I guess it is NCS, but literally the pick orders are FORCING me to be a meta sheep. I cannot play

Vayne Twitch Veigar Malzahar Warwick Orianna or anything of the sorts without being crushed by mobile burst Zed Yasuo Leblanc

To answer your original question from the post, no, there is not relation between roll and order in champion select. Sorry you've been unlucky with the ordering :/

It's not random. You're right. 90% of the time I support I get second to last or last pick. ANY time I mid or top, I get first or second pick.

This is frustrating.. its almost like riot just wants me to not play hypercarries and instalock Lux or Corki .. extremely safe picks
