I don't know if Thresh is OP, I have a hard time considering him to be OP TBH..
But at the same time, there's something to be said when a champion is in every single game in one particular role. It's not like supports as a class suck because they don't - they're pretty good. And even if they did, it would all be item related because supports have a lot of high base utility spells and impactful spells in general because they're a class designed to function on little gold, typically when a certain support character is weak, it's because of itemization. So thresh would suffer from these same problems considering that.
I don't know guys. I just have a hard time explaining how thresh is balanced as well. When Renekton was in top lane every game for 1 1/2 straight, we lost our shit. Same with Maokai, most people got tired of it. AP Nidalee for 2 years straight until her rework, we lost our shit. Lee in the jungle forever, people lost their shit. I don't understand how thresh automatically bypasses this considering he does bring everything to the table short of sustain and burst.
I don't think he's OP as in he's pick/ban and because of his existence, he simply wins games on that alone. But I do think something is wrong when he's literally in every game since he's been released. Idek what I want done about him, I don't think he needs nerfs either. But god damn; 3 years straight in every game? Somethings up.
But you could fix the wonky ass hitbox on his Q
and walk unpredictably. His kit, thematically, is actually a lot like Vayne's. Punishment. Punishing your opponents mistakes. Walk in a place Thresh knows you can't dodge (the little wedge between the wall and a turret for example), hook. Walk directly next to a wall with Vayne around? Condemned. I support and AD against Thresh all the time and I can tell "this Thresh sucks" or "this Thresh is amazing". He's also punished for his own mistakes, like Vayne.
