Can Morgana be brought into line with other supports?

A combination CC time of 4.5 seconds, a mana shield that is completely unique to all mana shields in that it also blocks CC, as well as having the ability to block magic damage. Free Spell Vamp, safe money with spell dagger. Morg is toting a lot of free in her kit with very, very little risk.

Then there is her ult which slows the duration till you get a stun, making it insanely hard to get out of unless you have flash. And her ratios are amazing. Her only down point is she has to melee to ult, but then she just pops Zhonyas and this problem is completely gone.

This champion is a problem, one that is getting bigger and bigger as other supports are getting nerfed and Morgana isn't.

The fact you call her a support means you dont understand what she is. Shes a mage primary support secondary; shes really a mage with utlity tacked on.

Its why she has incredible bases and ratios.

Morgana's shield doesn't make her a Support any more than Modekaiser's targeted defense boost makes him one. It only blocks magic damage and CC, which makes it best used in midlane against other mages, rather than top lane against a Fighter or bot lane against a Marksman.

Step 1: Let the enemy take Morgana Step 2: Pick Zyra/Karma Step 3: ??? Profit

But in all seriousness, I don't think she needs any nerfs right now. If you dodge her Q, she won't do anything, and if she ults you, just dash/blink away (I'm expecting that you don't play an immobile adc, but someone like Lucian/Corki/Graves. And as the support, picking a high-damaging support like Zyra and karma is a good idea. Finaly, ward thoses bushes and stand behind your minions.

Thanks for admitting that the endless nerfs are causing balanced champions to become overpowered. Shame your proposed solution is more nerfs.

Morgana is a mage first, support second. Any nerf to support Morgana is gutting mage morgana. So don't expect anything to happen.

Though the hit box does need to be fixed some.

Also, every champ has free, so no, you can't use that as an excuse.

Most of Morgana's imbalance isn't coming from the bulk of her kit. It's her ability to Q someone from two screens away and effectively remove them from a teamfight, or to cinch easy first bloods for her ADC doing nothing but hiding in a bush and tossing out her Qs. They need to reduce the scaling on the thing, give it an actual cooldown in line with the other heavy CC abilities that aggressive supports have, and make the hitbox actually function correctly.

And her ratios are amazing.

Of course they are, she is an AP mid laner. Her three damaging abilities have about the same base and scaling as all four of Leblanc 's. This should not be a surprise given how hard it is to get the combo off.

I will just leave this here. http://champion.gg/champion/Morgana/Middle

You obviously don't dodge her Q's lol if she misses that Q all of a sudden all that "power" seems really weak. Also her shield isn't a mana shield but a magic damage shield. The spell vamp in her kit is rarely noticeable during laning phase and her Q isn't the hardest thing to dodge. If you want to counter her then play karma and make her cry, if morg needed any nerfs, it would have to be her shield duration on allies.

Literally most of her abilities rely on her landing that 1 Q because her W and E are useless (damage wise) and her ultimate can be easy to run away of as an adc with a dash.
