Riot has the literal worst normal matchmaking of any fucking online game i've ever seen.

why the fuck is it that the maximum ranked player is gold 3, and theirs is goddamn diamond 1 and a diamond 4? maybe if their team had 3 bronzies on it to compensate, but they had 2 diamonds, a plat and two golds to our 4 silvers and a gold. Really riot? How is that fair? How is that going to be a rewarding or challenging experience for us if we just get farmed for 20 minutes? If i wanted to get fucking steamrolled by a bunch of near pro's, id ask for it.

seems common sense 4 silvers and a gold shouldnt be facing 2 diamonds and w/e else even bronze...let alone a plat and 2 more golds

even if its not ranked, thats sad

Try Oceania. weve never had a tribunal, ever. Even have AFKs in ARAM.

This is why I don't play normals anymore, I stick strictly to ranked to be matched with people my level (unless there are smurfs but I rarely notice any). And since I started ranked a month ago I haven't seen any of this 'elo hell' and trolls a lot of people bitch about either(was placed in S4 and currently S2 with 79 games played) There are way more trolls in normals from my experience.

I like normal matchmaking being separate from ranked; I don't have to play a million ranked games and endure terrible people to eventually be matched with people my level.

I agree, it's pretty much impossible for me to win any game!

Pretty much every single game, I get placed with tons of Diamonds on the enemy team where my team only has 1 or 2 Diamonds.

In an Irelia game I played, I had to go up against a Platinum Ryze, and I'm only Silver... :\
