Riot is going to murder the damn lore...

Listen, there's been an entire site with entire rosters of players who designed an entire story around the fact that League was an actual existing thing in the Runeterran universe. Your team deciding to run that potential into a grave is seriously the largest, most disappointing thing you could've done to this game. The lore was going into a bad direction over several months, if not years, and the lore developers have not been communicating with the lore community AT ALL. Instead of trying to improve the lore, you're destroying it. You've literally taken the universe in which all players existed and fought, where there were potential ramifications to each game (ALA Ionia V Noxus 2012), which you definitely could've explored more, but instead you are taking all the potential urgency of the game and basically saying "This doesn't matter in the least." You've gone and trivialized the absolutely massive, largely unexplored potential of the games lore and implications and turned this metaphorically living thing into a flip book. No more exploring by gameplay or interactions, no more immersion through story, nothing. It's almost akin to playing with dolls riot, and I for one am absolutely, completely disappointing in this decision.

Please reconsider, the lore is something many players cherish and enjoy, and you are killing it.
