Question on Iverns Passive

So in noticing Ivern's passive i have a quick question. Can an enemy kill a jungle camp that Ivern has marked? I.E on first clear Ivern marks blue then goes to Red, can the enemy jungler come to the marked blue and take the jungle camp before Ivern "Frees" them?

In the live stream they mentioned that the enemy can see that the camp is marked, but can't see how much time is on it. They didn't say that it prevented them from taking it.

yes. they can. you have to protect your forest. if they kill it you lose the camp and you lose your health.

I was wondering a few things also.

First, with his passive, can it be interrupted? Because he will be a counterjungling monster where you have to rush down a camp before his passive takes it.....but it does look like a channel. I also don't understand how it interacts with smite; can i smite a grove that is still growing to instantly "kill" the camp or does it need to be a full grown grove? and can my opponent do the same? The numbers on the pbe also seems weird, the health and mana costs don't scale up but instead jump around.

His W is confusing me also; the video (champion reveal) has him casting it 3 times in rapid succession despite, at best, a 24 second cooldown (unless that is just a typo).

Finally, his E. Does it function like sion's shield where if the shield is consumed before it detonates it does not detonate? or does the explosion occur no matter what?

Overall though, a cool champion with some unique skills/aspects.

Ivern has to plant the grove, then come back later and reactivate it to "free" the monsters and gain the normal xp/gold. There's nothing stopping his allies or enemies from clearing the camp instead.

If Ivern uses smite on a camp AFTER planting the grove, they are instantly "freed". In this way he can eliminate a camp in an extremely short time, giving him some counterjungling pressure of his own.
